Michael Hennessy, Founder and CEO
Michael is the Founder and CEO of SmashFly Technologies, a pioneer in on-demand recruitment marketing platforms. Michael is a born entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in large scale systems design and operation, on-demand business application product development, high volume transaction processing and engineering management.

Prior to SmashFly, Michael was the founding Architect and Director of Engineering for BrassRing which was the first company to deliver an enterprise scale on-demand business software application to serve over 50 fortune 500 clients on a single code base. During his employment with BrassRing, he served as chief architect and technologist, leading the development efforts for their on-demand Talent Acquisition System. These products are still being used today by over 180 companies including Fortune 100 companies such as GE, AOL Time Warner, Exxon Mobil and Philip Morris in over 50+ countries.

Prior to BrassRing, Michael was co-founder and CEO of Millennium Productions, an Internet ISP based out of Cambridge, MA where he led the technology, sales, and client services groups. He holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
  
Filipp Rakevich, Chief Technology Officer
Filipp is a hands on CTO with more than 11 years experience designing and implementing web based enterprise systems and Windows forms applications. Ever since the introduction of .Net Filipp has been on the front lines of technology and innovation. As a senior member of the Labs team in Kenexa, Filipp designed and developed products for the HR industry using the most advanced technologies available at the time. Following on his career path Filipp worked as a principal developer for the Investment Technology Group in Boston contributing to the design and development of a state of the art trading solution. Filipp overseas all development efforts at SmashFly.
 
Robert Spatta, Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development, Bob provides leadership for the Company’s Sales and Business Development efforts – developing and delivering comprehensive strategies to increase revenue while at the same time developing key strategic alliances that will increase the reach of, and loyalty to, the WildFire platform.

Bob brings over 25 years of sales/finance experience successfully developing and analyzing sales programs and increasing revenue and market-share across a variety of industries. He was an early pioneer in the Software as a Service (SaaS) segment and has worked with both decision support and recruitment solutions for the past 12 years. Prior to that, he worked in the Staffing industry as a headhunter and started his career as a CPA.

He is a successful team leader and program driver with a results-oriented get-it-done attitude.
 
Clyde Gillard, Vice President
As a highly accomplished and innovative sales professional and business consultant in the technology industry, Clyde Gillard brings over 20 years of experience to the table with an outstanding background in business development, strategic alliances, client services, sales leadership, and start-up experience. Clyde held several executive-level positions as a Vice President in multiple high profile technology start-up corporations including Talent Technology Corporation, SkillSet Software, NowSpeed, Inc., and MailWise LLC.

While at Talent Technology Corporation, Clyde was the Global Sales Director for SAP/Taleo and Regional Sales Director, Oracle/PeopleSoft. In addition to managing the certification and launch of the SAP integration, he successfully negotiated and closed several high profile client companies including Fed-Ex, CIGNA, UPMC, Travelers, Citizens Bank, The Limited, United Health Care, Corning, NStar, Dana Farber, and others.

Prior to Talent Technology Corporation, Clyde led the sales, marketing, and channel development efforts for Mailwise. In this position, he built a revenue stream from both direct and indirect channels that resulted in 12 consecutive quarters of growth. Clyde has been instrumental in leading business development and sales strategies of NowSpeed, SkillSet Software, and Restrac. During his tenure at Restrac, Clyde built a very robust partner program as the Director of Alliances. This was a significant factor in Restrac’s successful IPO. Clyde also held management positions within Bell Atlantic, ATT/NCR, and Motorola.

Clyde is a candidate for a Master of Business Administration at Babson College and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Framingham State College. He currently resides in Gloucester, MA where he is an active member in the community.
